Ribbon Container

This is where I will be keeping my scraps of ribbon and it only took about 20 minutes to complete. I love ribbon. I organize it by color and use it often. I often cut too much off of the spool and don't know what to do with the leftovers...I can't stand throwing them in the trash because I always think that I might have a NEED for them later.
As of 20 minutes ago the little ribbon remnants have a home. I started with a few simple things. plastic container (I couldn't find a glass one with a big enough opening for my hand to fit inside), glue, ribbon, paper, etc.
I printed the words Ribbon Scraps on a piece of card stock, cut it out and stuck the paper to a ready made cardboard tag from Oriental Trading.
Next, I added some Bethany Lowe Tinsel Garland and other embellishments to the flower shaped tag.
I wrapped twine around the neck of the container and attached the tag with the twine. I also covered the lid with the same paper and wrapped the edge of the lid with twine.
This is a super easy project and now I have a place to keep all of those extra ribbon scraps...will I ever use them???
