Little Dancer

This is a quick and easy way to add a little decoration to any part of your home. This only took me about 10 minutes and it looks cute on the wall.

First I grabbed an extra piece of wood that I had and ran the sander over all of the sides. I painted it pink. The paint was dry by the time I rinsed and cleaned the brush.
After it was pink I used stencils to paint the words that I wanted on it. Mine says "Little Dancer" because it is for my daughter and she is a little dancer. You could make one for any room in the house and make it say anything you want. That paint was also dry faster than I expected it to be. I cut off the extra part of the wood so the sign would be a bit shorter and then I ran the sander over the edges to give it a distressed look.
Here it is....I hung it on the wall above two frames but those frames don't have any photos in them yet so you won't get to see them until a later.
I drilled a small hole in the back to hang the sign. I was going to use a picture hanger but I wanted to the sign to be flush with the wall so I drilled a hole slightly bigger than the nail head. The nail fit perfectly and the sign is hung flat like I wanted it to be.
