Patriotic Picture Holders

Warning: This is the 1st of many patriotic posts...We are having a red, white and blue party for my daughter's 2nd birthday.

We are having a large party for Mackenzie's 2nd Birthday (in 2 weeks) and I have been collecting red, white and blue things for the past few months. Somewhere along the way a I decided to print 24 5x7 pictures from her 2nd year of life (any picture after her 1st birthday was up for printing). I also made 24 different 8x8 scrapbook layouts (9 are in the picture below) to mount the pictures on.

I finished the layouts and realized I needed a way to display them at her party...I discovered these when the Oriental Trading catalog came in the mail the next day. Perfect!

As soon as they arrived I painted them red...

and began adding white and blue stars to the 4 sides and the top...

Here they are...almost dry.
This is what they look like finished...with a photo on the scrapbook layout, of course.
