Egg Wreath for Easter

I was at the store gathering some necessities for Easter baskets and decided to get a few extra packages of plastic eggs just in case I needed them. It turned out that I really did NEED them because I turned them into this wreath. The wreath turned out pretty cute, to bad the front door is ugly. I bought 3 bags of 24 eggs and that wasn't enough. I had to to back and buy 2 more bags. I ended up using 4 1/2 bags of 24 eggs each. I used pastel eggs but you could use pastel or bright colors.
I had the wreath form from a project that I was going to do at Christmas but never got around to. Glue the eggs onto the wreath form using a hot glue gun. I didn't glue the egg top to the egg bottom and it turned out just fine...you end up using a lot of glue just to get them to stay on the wreath and on to each other.
Just keep adding more eggs as you work your way around the wreath. I know the photograph below looks like they are bright colors but I promise they are really pastels.
Once I finished gluing the eggs on I thought the wreath needed something else. There was tooooooo mush plastic for my taste so I took it outside and sprayed it with an adhesive and sprinkled it with glitter.
After the glitter it looks like this...
I added a ribbon and bow and hung it on the front door. Again, I wish the door was as cute as the wreath. Someday...
