Quick & Cute Valentine Treat

I was at Jo-Ann Fabrics on Monday and I noticed that the candy melts in EVERY color were on sale. I thought they would make a yummy treat so I bought red (for Valentine's Day) and knew I would come up with something to make with them. I also picked up a variety of Valentine sprinkles while I was out. On my way home I decided to make dipped marshmallows for a fun Valentine's Day treat.

The 1st thing I did was put two marshmallows on each candy stick so they would be ready once I melted the candy. Then, I put the Candy Melts into a bowl and melted them in the microwave. It took a a little over a minute to melt the candy. I put the sprinkles in small plastic containers while I was waiting for the candy to melt.

I dipped half of the marshmallow into the red melted candy and then dipped it in the sprinkles. I made designs and stripes on some of the marshmallows using a small knife to spread the melted candy onto toe marshmallow.
I let sprinkles and candy harden on foil. By the time I was done with the last stick the 1st one was hard and ready to package.

I put two sticks in the candy bag and tied some ribbon around the sticks to keep the bag closed...and to make it more Valentine like.
Ta Da.........................................................................Here they are in a bowl on the kitchen island, just waiting to be munched on. Yummy!
