Don't say I didn't warn you because I did...I found more after Christmas SALES and bought the ornaments to make another wreath. I was shopping at
Michaels for something else and I saw the small sale section with a few boxes of ornaments left. These ornaments were originally $7.99 per box and I got them for a little over $1.00 per box. I think I used 8 boxes for the wreath.
A friend told me to hot glue the top part onto the ornament with a hot glue gun but I used E-6000 instead. I use that stuff for everything and it's not as messy as hot glue. I also tried to use floral wire instead of a wire hanger but that did not turn out so great. I ended up taking the ornaments off of the floral wire and using a hanger instead.
Here it is...my finished pink and purple wreath. Next year you will see it on my daughters bedroom door as soon as I get the Christmas decorations out.
I'm not saying that I am finished making these wreaths with sale ornaments but the excitement has worn off a bit, although, I still think they are beautiful decorations...easy to make and pretty inexpensive for all the beauty they bring to the home.
