Here it is...my 1st ornament wreath is complete.
The wreath project was fast and easy. I only broke one glass ornament in the process and I had just enough ornaments leftover to make a second wreath. Now I have two matching Christmas Wreaths and I just might go back to the store tonight or tomorrow to buy more ornaments in different colors.
I would love to have one wreath on every interior door of my house next year. Just think of the possibilities...coordinating ornament colors for each room. Ought-O I think I liked this simple and easy project so much that I may go overboard making these wreaths...I guess you will just have to wait and see what I post next.

After Christmas SALE = Ornament Wreath
Yesterday, I was running errands and noticed that a few stores still had a large amount of Christmas items on clearance. I gave in at the last store and happily put 9 boxes (each box had 10 or 20 ornaments) of ornaments in my shopping cart. This morning I began opening the boxes to begin my project...

Just after Christmas I saw the amazing Christmas Ornament Wreath on the Just A Girl Blog and I planned to make it as soon as the stores began displaying and selling Christmas "stuff" in 2010. That all changed last night when I found these leftover ornaments. Did I mention that I got all 9 boxes for just over $10?!?!? Anyway, after I opened the boxes I began putting the ornaments on the wire hanger.
Before I knew it the hanger was full and my wreath was almost complete. The only part I had a bit of a difficult time with was hooking the two sides of the hangers together to form the circle. I think I cheated a bit because I used some thin craft twine to make sure the two sides of the hanger cannot come apart.
